Marybeth Cale
Founder, Estuary Coaching
Marybeth Cale, Certified Life/Executive Coach and Meditation/Mindfulness Teacher, has been enthusiastically working to empower others since her days as president of her high school class (Rhinebeck High School, Class of 1992)!
After receiving a BA in Sociology from St. Mary's College of Maryland, she worked as a college admissions counselor for her alma mater, traveling extensively to connect with prospective students, parents, and high school guidance counselors. By age 23, Marybeth (aka "Beth") was running the development and public relations department for a large nonprofit (Abilities First), where she learned the communications and leadership skills necessary to engage the broader community in her organization’s mission. After giving birth to her second son, Marybeth envisioned building a life that'd allow her to enjoy a career in context of her desire to make family her top priority. Thus, she launched Cale Communications.

Since their company first launched, she and husband Tom Cale (who is also her talented business partner!) have been providing a full scope of communications services to clients from all over the United States and Canada. They've also been publishing Living Rhinebeck magazine since 2016, sharing positive human interest stories with a mission of connecting community members to one another.
Over the years, Marybeth has coordinated and implemented communications campaigns, crafted articles, marketing materials, and speeches, developed and conducted workshops and coaching programs for individuals, aspiring leaders, CEOs, executives, and employer groups throughout the country, and has served in myriad volunteer leadership roles for several nonprofit organizations in her home Hudson Valley region. She gained designation as a Certified Life Coach in 2016, and in 2021, she became a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher. She feels that mindfulness-rooted coaching designed to help people THRIVE is truly her life's work, and genuinely wants to do all she can to promote the kind of self-discovery, self-confidence, and self-awareness that will allow each person with whom she has the privilege of working to shine.
Her favorite role is that of being a mom to her two teenage boys, and notes that this experience has provided her with the best training possible when it comes to leading and living with heart and humor. In addition to spending time with her cherished family and friends, she loves running, hiking, reading, as well as long power-walks, sunsets, movies, trips to the ocean, and live music. She’s passionate about using her work to connect people to vision, ideas, stories....and ultimately....to themselves and to one another.

"If there is one thing I’ve learned about business, it is that people like to do business with people they like. Marybeth is one of those people who lights up a room when she comes in; her smile and energy are infectious, her ethics are a model for others. She will always do the right thing by others and is a pure delight to be around. To me, it just doesn’t get any better than that”
